Lifting the Veil - Act 1 : In the late 1930's, two evangelists, Kate and Burroughs, fall in love and decide to elope.    Kate is carried across the threshold, still unconscious from fainting at the ceremony.  Burroughs decides to baptize her into marital bliss, but she awakens to a different vision.  "Lifting the Veil" is the story of the first 100 minutes of their wedding night.  The musical score was composed and performed by Trinity House Theatre Board Member, Paul Murphy.  Paul Patton is the founder of Trinity House Theatre.  He currently teaches theater at Spring Arbor University.
